    Before construction work of diaphragm wall, there is some preliminary structure work that needs to be done. It includes pavement, guide wall, slurry pond and soil disposal pond.

      A diaphragm wall is a series of rigid structures connected together via panel joints. These joints are the focus points which will affect the water tightness, force transmitting as well as the construction quality. Various types of panel joints are available, Tung Feng is using the most advanced method originated in Taiwan using end steel plate joint instead of using the conventional type of water stop end method.   Advantages of End Plate Diaphragm Wall Method:

    1. The Overlap Joint is one of the best water stop joint.
    2. The Diaphragm Wall with Overlap Joint can be considered as permanent basement wall. This saves costs, time and space for an extra basement wall.
    3. The overlap joint can keep the deep excavation of the basement is a very safe situation.
